EA’s Server Problems Make SimCity’s Launch A Disaster

Since March 5th, when the new SimCity game was released, EA’s servers have been over capacity about 120 percent. Gamers are trying to install SimCity onto their computers but connection to EA’s servers are nearly impossible to connect to as everyone is doing the same thing, and that’s hooking up to the server to install the game. Without connection to EA’s servers, SimCity cannot proceed in it’s installation as it is a requirement to connect to the servers.

Angered gamers cannot install the long anticipated SimCity game, and it draws the gamers frustration and hatred towards Electronic Arts. Lucy Bradshaw has apologized to the gamers asking gamers to understand the situation. “We’re hoping you won’t stay mad and that we’ll be friends again when SimCity is running at 100 percent.” Bradshaw, the general manager of Sims said.

To get back with the fans and to be even, gamers can download a free PC game, ”On March 18, SimCity players who have activated their game will receive an e-mail telling them how to redeem their free game.”.

EA's Servers Are A Disaster

Hopefully this teaches EA a valuable business lesson. In my opinion, EA needed to prepare and plan for over capacity issues well before the release of SimCity. If EA had extra servers which allowed extra capacity, there wouldn’t be a mess, and EA wouldn’t have to apologize to the gamers, asking for their forgiveness, and providing a game. Contingency plans are always important when implementing something thats highly anticipated.

Do you think gamers are going to be happy with a free game EA is giving out? Do you think EA needs to strengthen up it’s servers to remain a top gaming corporation? We’d love to hear your comments. Leave a comment in the comments section below.

Welcome to SimCityCheats.com

Hello and welcome to SimCityCheats.com! We’re back and we’re ready to bring the latest SimCity Cheats, as well as the SimCity Cheats from older editions of the game.

This domain was purchased in the late 1990s/early 2000s. Information about this domain’s history is unclear, but old webpages can be found on http://www.archive.org. This domain worked as a redirection tool to another website, and at one point it was a website displaying links.

In November 2012, this domain was for sale, and was purchased. Since then, the team has been working hard to provide all of the cheats for all of the SimCity games. While working hard in February 2013, the server failed and all information was deleted and impossible to recover.

Now, the entire team is working hard to bring all of the latest information regarding all of the SimCity games. Please bare with us as we recreate content and provide the most SimCity Cheats on this planet!

Thank you for understanding, hope this website goes far!
